The 'plain stupid' part is the politics of treating the Climate Camp venture as criminal and terrority, when it should really have the backing of the government and the 'friendly support' of the police.

That's not only because we all have the inalienable right to demonstrate in this country.

But especially because the real need is for tackling climate change to become a 'front of the mind' cause needing urgent tackling, rather than being 'important, but can deal with it later'.

Some in the Government seem quite keen to take good measures, but they daren't do this unless the public really want them. (After all they're politicians)

Vocal Government suppport for Climate Camp would be an imaginative step by Government, rather than repression. After all backing the Geldof phenomenon did wonders for Blair (and Geldof) at the time of Gleneagles!

Any thoughts on getting this message across?

Keep informing and good luck.
