Events promoting revolution in Latin America

Hi everyone

Instead of our usual weekly meeting this Wednesday (11th), Andy
Higginbottom from the Colombia Solidarity Campaign will be giving a report
back from the alternative People's Summit which took place in Lima
recently, with 10,000 social movement leaders from 15 countries
participating, and at which Bolivian president Evo Morales spoke. Same
venue as last week, Room 624, Birkbeck College, Malet Street, London W1
(nearest tubes Russell Square and Goodge Street). Same time, 7pm, hope
you can make it!

Then before that, this Monday (9th), Hands Off Venezuela is presenting
several films at Cinema Libre, based at the Inspiral Lounge, 250 Camden
High St, including Venezuela Bolivariana – People and Struggle of the
Fourth World War, followed by 2 short films -
The Assassination of Hugo Chavez – Greg Palast Investigates [25 mins]
Solidarity! - The Hands Off Venezuela Film [15 mins]

PLUS
+ An update & discussion on the current threats to Venezuela, the building
of a United Socialist Party (PSUV) and environmental issues.
+ Live music including Andean percussion
+ Brand New HOV Magazine for sale, as well as DVDs.
+ Organic bar and food
